EvoShield's XVT™ Batting Helmet Face Shield is designed to provide additional protection at the plate, where it's needed most. This shield is engineered to securely mount to the side of the helmet, ensuring that it protects the face without obstructing sightlines. The lightweight construction, made of ABS plastic with a padded inner surface, ensures that comfort is not sacrificed for protection.

The XVT™ Batting Helmet Face Shield is compatible with all XVT™ and XVT™ Luxe Batting Helmets, which are sold separately. This specific product, the EvoShield XVT High Gloss Batting Helmet Face Shield in navy, is designed for left-handed hitters. It is compatible with all XVT and XVT Luxe Batting Helmets, which are sold separately.

In terms of facial protection, the shield is engineered to securely mount to the batting helmet and protect vulnerable areas of the face that are exposed to the pitcher, while still allowing for clear sightlines. When purchasing, customers can choose the appropriate fit for their side of the plate, with options for right-handed hitters (RHH) or left-handed hitters (LHH).

It's important to note that the installation of the face shield does not affect the SEI Certification of meeting the NOCSAE protection standard for the EvoShield XVT Luxe and EvoShield XVT Batting Helmets. This means that when the face shield is properly installed, the helmets still meet the necessary safety standards.
